Actress Vanessa Hudgens has revealed it annoys her when people presume she’d get naked for films. Posed pics of the High School Musical star in the nude caused controversy when they hit the internet.

Now she's told Allure Magazine:

"I hate the whole see-and-be-seen feeling," she says.

"I just hate knowing that people are looking at me."

Indeed the nude photograph scandal haunts her to this day - even when she's working. “It's so aggravating and frustrating, and whenever anybody asks me, would I do nudity in a film, if I say that it's something I'm not comfortable with, they're like, 'Bulls**t, you've already done it'.”

She added: “If anything, it makes it more embarrassing, because that was a private thing. It's screwed up that someone screwed me over like that.”

It’s believed the raunchy shots were leaked by an ex-boyfriend of Hudgens.

Vanessa Hudgens once ate a bat.

The 'High School Musical' actress was left unimpressed after sampling an unusual dish featuring the winged mammal cooked in wine while she was on holiday.

She said: "I ate a fruit bat - it is a specialty in the Seychelles islands. They cooked it in red wine. It was really, really dark, grainy meat. It was quite frightening."

Vanessa - who is dating her 'High School Musical' co-star Zac Efron - also revealed she loves animals and is particularly interested in serpents.

The 20-year-old brunette beauty added: "I love snakes. I think they're sexy. Not in the wild, of course, but pet snakes."

Vanessa is not the first star who has confessed to eating a bizarre meal.

When 'Resident Evil' actress Milla Jovovich was pregnant in 2007 she couldn't suppress her desire for bone marrow.

She said: "I was craving bone marrow one day, and I scoured the whole of Paris searching for the leg of a cow. When I finally found what I was looking for, I cut it in half, digging out the yellowish substance, slathering it all over bread."

High school musical wins at kids choice

The 22nd Kids Choice in America awards show was held recently in Los Angeles. The awards give kids a chance to vote for their favorites.

Disney's "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" graduated with multiple honors at the Kids' Choice Awards. It was selected as the favorite movie and its star, Vanessa Hudgens was also selected as the favorite movie actress.

The Favorite Animated Movie honor went to Dreamworks "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa." And the Favorite Movie Actor was Will Smith for his performance in the movie "Hancock. Jack Black won the " Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie" honor for "Kung Fu Panda."

Miley Cyrus won the Favorite Female Singer honor. The Favorite Book turned out to be the "Twilight" series.

Awards were also given for TV shows, music group, male and female athlete, male singer, and video game.

The audience of the awards ceremony was virtually all kids and teenagers. The awards were first held in 1988 and have become very popular among American kids.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens Talks 81st Academy Awards Nervousness

Although it was extremely hard to tell, Vanessa Hudgens recently opened up about how nervous she was before performing at this year’s Oscars.

The Academy Awards show took place this past Sunday (February 22) at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, where hundreds of A-list celebrities gathered. Of this, Miss Hudgens said, “I can honestly say that I have never been so nervous.”

Despite her jitters, the young “High School Musical” actress did just fine and looked to be having the time of her life as she performed alongside boyfriend, Zac Efron.

As for the swirling engagement talk, it seems it is just a rumor as there was no official proposal and Vanessa is not wearing a ring.

What´s it really like to be Vanessa Hudgens?
The High School Musical star reveals all as she chats about missing her prom, traveling the world and the weird lies written about her in the press.

Is it true you missed out on your high school prom, Vanessa?
It is true! I was home schooled, so I didn´t have a prom – but I had one with High School Musical 3. I really enjoyed filming the prom scene and I think it looks amazing on screen.

Are you sad you missed out on a prom?
Not really. The after-parties at the premieres around the world were also a lot like proms because we´d all be dressed up so smartly. I´ve had quite a few proms now and they´ve all been really good fun!

What happened at the premiere after-parties?
A lot of the events had music blasting and great food--and we´d all dance away. I guess it wasn´t exactly like a prom, but all of my best friends were there and that´s all that matters.

Sounds like the HSM3 premieres were very hard work . . . Ha ha! I really enjoyed the premieres because I love traveling. I´ve always wanted to travel, so visiting these different places with High School Musical has been an amazing experience.

Did you get any free time off at the premieres?
We didn´t really have time to tour the places we visited, but I would always try the specialty foods in every place. I loved it. Swedish meatballs were my favorite. They were delicious!

Do you have a favorite vacation destination?
Well, that depends on what I want to do during the vacation. London is great for shopping, but I love the beach. It´s so relaxing to sit on the sand listening to the waves. I love the sunshine and hot places, so I think I´d prefer to go somewhere exotic today. That might change tomorrow, though!

How would you describe yourself?
I´m outgoing, but at the same time I´m quite personal. I guess it depends on the day because I feel more outgoing some days over others. I´m a go-getter. I´m a very passionate person who is very loyal and thoughtful, too.

Is it weird to see your face in newspapers and magazines?
It´s crazy to know that most of the things you read about yourself in the press are false. It´s so weird that people take the time to make up these stories. It takes so much more effort than telling the truth, so I don´t understand it at all. It´s such a weird aspect of being famous.

What´s the weirdest lie you´ve seen written in the press?
I once read a rumor that I was arrested at a Hollywood party. It was a huge, elaborate story but I was actually in a completely different country when they said it happened. It was crazy!

There was a story that someone tried to attack you and Zac in London.
That was completely false, too! We did not get attacked. We were walking out of a theater and into a car when some guy stumbled along and got caught in the middle of it all. He got carried along with us, but someone was there taking photos and it looked like he was having a go. It was a crazy night. The guy was trapped in the car doorway and he was screaming, "I´m normal! I´m normal!" Our bodyguard had to help him get to the side of the road, but I got hit in the face in all the commotion. It was an accident, though.

So how proud are you of "High School Musical 3"?
I´m really proud of this movie. It was so much fun and so exciting filming "High School Musical 3." It´s like our thank you to the fans for watching the first and second movie--and it gave us the opportunity to step it up once more to create something even bigger and better. It was a blast.

How did your relationship with Zac affect your on-screen performance?
Well, this is our third movie together and we´ve grown up so much together as actors. I think you see that on screen. It makes it all the better because we aren´t afraid to try new things in front of the camera. We are much more creative because we´re very comfortable together.

Have you grown closer to the rest of the HSM cast, too?
Sure. All of the cast have grown close and we all know each other so well that we´re all not afraid to try new things. We´re extremely comfortable together and it´s been amazing to be able to grow up on camera with each other.

You sing, dance and act, but which do you prefer?
Dancing was a big part of my life, but I would never consider myself a dancer. I adore singing, and music has always been a huge part of my life, but I also enjoy acting.

What do you like about music?
I love being in the studio and singing on stage and performing. It´s so much fun. I love every second of it – and I love the way you get to show who you are. I love the way fans are really passionate around the world, so I adore performing and hearing people sing along in different countries. It´s an amazing feeling when that happens. It´s like you´re part of one big family.

When it comes to your music, what inspires you?
I relate to all of my songs and I´m inspired by everything going on around me. Music comes from all different aspects of my life. Gone With The Wind is one of my songs that means a real lot to me because it basically says how I´ve grown up. I still have a head on my shoulders, but I´m not that little girl anymore. I like that.

L.A. high school musical star seeks lawsuit dismissal

"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens is seeking dismissal of a lawsuit by her former lawyer who claims the young singer and actress owes him 150,000 dollars, court documents showed Thursday.

Los Angeles lawyer Brian Schall filed the lawsuit last month against the 18 year-old Hudgens, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment by the star, who has become hot among American teenagers after playing a high school singer in the Disney Channel' s popular television movie and its sequel.

Hudgens is asking the court to dismiss the suit by arguing that she was only 16 when she signed a contract with the lawyer. A hearing on Hudgens' dismissal motion is set for Dec. 5 by the court.

Schall and Hudgens entered a contract in October 2005, and he advanced costs and expenses on her behalf in connection with her songwriting and recording career, according to court documents.

Schall says he drafted contracts for Hudgens that have helped her earn more than 5 million dollars, and Hudgens paid some of the money, but still owes him 150,000 dollars.

But court papers filed this week by Hudgens' lawyer say that California state Family Code "provides that the contract of a minor is voidable and may be disaffirmed before age 18 or within a reasonable time afterward." Hudgens earlier officially disaffirmed the contract.

Hudgens' court papers additionally state that she actually had an agreement with the law offices of Schall, but not with Schall as an individual.

Hudgens hired the Schall firm in October 2005 on representations by its attorneys that they were skilled in entertainment law, but she determined in the middle of this year that the services were "blow professional standards, resulting in a breakdown of their relationship," according to her court papers.

Vanessa Hudgens: I got attacked

Vanessa Hudgens claims she was attacked last week, not Zac Efron.

The 'High School Musical' stars - who are enjoying an off-screen romance - were leaving London's Apollo theatre last Wednesday when a man in his 40s pushed past security to approach the pair.

Although it had been reported he lunged for Zac, 20, his 19-year-old girlfriend insists the unnamed man cut her face.

She told US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "I actually got hit in the face! If anything, I was the one who got attacked, not Zac.

"There was a guy who was walking down the street and I think he was a little drunk and he got pushed into the craziness of it all. He was blocking the door so our bodyguard had to push him aside.

"I looked in the mirror and got a huge scratch and I was bleeding."

Zac has revealed he wasn't even aware of the attack until they returned to their waiting car.

He said: "I just heard about it. I was just focused on the van door - I've got to get to it. I got in the van and we drove away. I don't remember getting harassed."

Teenage Disney star apologizes for posing nude

Vanessa Hudgens, star of the Walt Disney Company's hugely lucrative "High School Musical" films, has apologized to fans for the nude pictures of hers that are being splashed on the Internet, media reports said Tuesday.

The raunchy pictures depict the 18-year-old posing in various states of undress, including completely naked. In a statement issued recently, Hudgens asked for forgiveness from her fans, and said that the situation has left her embarrassed.

"I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends," the 18-year-old star said Friday.

"High School Musical" is Walt Disney Company's most successful show over the last two years generating profits to the tune of 1 billion U.S. dollars.

Just to make things more difficult, the photograph was allegedly taken by Zac Efron, Hudgens's 19-year-old boyfriend, and her co-star on the show. Together, the couple are by far the biggest "tween" stars in America, frequently appearing on the covers of celebrity magazines.

All this has left Walt Disney company with an impossible dilemma. If it supports Hudgens, will more nude pictures, some more explicit than the first, later emerge? And if it dumps Hudgens, will fans dump the show?

So far, the company has chosen to back Hudgens, for fear of meddling with a proven formula, thus forcing parents across the United States to have to explain to their children why their teen idol had disappeared from the screen.

The release of the images could pose trouble for Hudgens, who is currently in negotiations for a third "High School Musical" film.

And sources are claiming that the film's production house may have second thoughts about casting her in the light of the notorious episode. However, Hudgens' representative Jill Fritzo insists that all rumours that the singer-actress has been kicked out from future productions are untrue.
